APT plants are amongst the lowest cost-per-ounce available anywhere, and coupled with enhanced recoveries, high availability and ease of operation, the maximum business advantage is assured.

This not only assures a painless initiation, but also lends the opportunity to optimize and streamline as you go.

APT takes the small-scale sector seriously with a division dedicated especially to this market, called the GroundBreaker Division. Products cater to all aspects from alluvial through to hard rock with small combination plants also being available. Many smaller operations have managed to internally grow beyond this scale and access larger scale equipment.

The products

APT’s plants are supplied as fully comprehensive modular solutions from ore to gold doré or bagged mineral concentrates as appropriate:

• The process begins with APT’s famous RG scrubber range to disintegrate loose feeds and separate out the fines from the coarse rock.
• Fines proceed to gravity recovery, whilst the coarse rock proceeds to crushing and grinding.
  • Initial gravity recovery is achieved through either APT’s own GoldKacha or GK-x Concentrator for small to medium scale operations, or a Knelson Concentrator for large scale operations.
  • Jigs are used for the coarser material separations.
• If gold dissolution is required, APT’s Tritank CIL or CIP options are included, all the way through to elution and smelting.
